Register for a course online. Please note: When filling out the online registration form, credit card information is NOT required if you are signing up for all free classes. However, in order for the form to be submitted, you must enter “filler” information in the “Credit Card Information (required)” area at the bottom of the form. You may enter numbers (i.e., “22222”) and letters (i.e. “abcde”) in the boxes, then submit.

Training workshops and seminars are specifically designed to give small business owners, managers and prospective business owners the tools necessary to resolve most business issues, as well as the ability to monitor business developments with the skills and methods required to maintain or expand a successful venture. Topics include:

Starting a business
Writing a business plan
Financing
Marketing
Human resources
International trade
Taxes and insurance
Putting your business on-line
QuickBooks

Most of the workshops are held at Raritan Valley Community College, though some courses are offered at SBDC satellite locations in Franklin Township and Flemington Borough (see below for locations). Please refer to the current semester Corporate & Continuing Education (non-credit) course schedule for details on course offerings and locations.
